This is a double distilled Calvados, which spends a decade-and-a-half ageing in Normandy, before being bottled. Fragrant and floral, with rich, oak-y qualities making themselves heard all the way through. Excellent after-dinner drinking if you’re looking for a refreshing change to a whisky or Cognac. Tasting Notes Calvados is distilled from apples in Normandy. This well-aged example still smells like fresh apple with complex notes of toffee and baked apple pie. A pale colour with golden glints, our Colombard-Sauvignon offers a very expressive bouquet of citrus and lime fruits, revealing a perfect balance between freshness and fruity taste.

A pleasant aperitif, this wine goes wonderfully with platters of seafood and cooked or raw fish. Fresh & crisp Allergy Information Contains Sulphites Grape Variety Colombard, Sauvignon Blanc Tasting Notes A pale yellow colour with soft green reflections, a very expressive bouquet highlighting subtle notes of lime fruit.

Vinification Details The grapes are harvested before they are entirely ripe for perfect health and then crushed rapidly at a low temperature. Fermentated at a very low temperature (12-17°C) to pr eserve all the aromas. Rapidly fined and conserved at a low temperature.

Courvoisier VS cognac is a blend of several crus aged between three and seven years, composed principally of Fins Bois with a balancing hand of Petite Champagne.

The fusion of younger and older cognacs gives Courvoisier VS a fruity, delicate taste and a bouquet filled with ripe fruit and spring flowers.

Medium sweet, medium acidic, honey melon notes, orange marmalade notes, hint of honey.

TASTE Mellow and sweet whites are medium-dry or even sweet. You can discern apricot, honeydew melon and floral notes in these wines. Residual sugar rounds up the flavour.

TIPS FOR USE These wines are all characterised by delicious, fruity sweetness, which means that they are excellent for socialising and a good match for Eastern dishes and vegetables. Try with Indian vegetable or chicken korma, shrimp and cheese quiche or black label Emmental.

HOW TO SERVE White wines are best served chilled, at 10–12°C. Chilling a bottle from room temperature to the perfect serving temperature takes about two hours in a fridge. The sweeter the wine, the cooler it can be served.
