Glencadam 15 Year Old Single Malt Whisky – 70 cl

The Glencadam 15 years old is a multi-award winning single malt whisky. It was the pick of the year by online vlogger Ralphy as his whisky of the year in 2017. Sadly the whisky was deleted from the core range not too long after only to return again in 2020. Using only ex Bourbon barrels to show the character of the Glencadam spirit this whisky is bottled at 46%, non chill filtered and has no added colour.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Floral, Rosewater, vanilla sponge cake, Cherry Ripe, freshly cut hay and some sea salt.

Taste: Orchard fruits of pears and apricots, vanilla buttercream frosting, freshly malted barley, warm nougat and sea salt.

Finish: Some tropical fruits of banana and pineapple, more floral notes with pear boiled sweeties and extremely smooth.

ABV: 46%

Johnnie Walker® Double Black Label™ is a scotch whisky with more Islay whisky compared to the original Black Label, and it has a more intense flavor and smoke character profile while preserving the original Johnnie Walker whisky style. It's a full-bodied drink with an alcohol concentration of 40%. Its aroma hints the smell of dry oak and light stony smoke. The orange zest and apples coupled with vanilla and spices bring freshness and softness to the tongue, giving it a generally sweet taste. Produced with a careful selection of the best Scottish malt and grain whiskies, mainly from the region of Speyside. The only one in its category with an aging of at least 15 years in oak barrels.
