Aromatic, not tart scent of orange reaches the nose on top of that. On tasting the excellent Grants family reserve Scotch Whisky it feels round and soft. The connoisseur receives a succulent taste of orange, balanced vanilla as well as an unusual sound of Chamomile tea which can rarely be found in a Scotch. The finish of the Grants family reserve Scotch Whisky is long, dry with slight grassy notes. The Grants family reserve Scotch Whisky is presented in a triangular bottle with a dark red label with the inscription: Grant's blended Scotch Whisky, the family reserve. The precious bottle is trumped only by the golden bright color of the Whisky. This flagship Whiskey makes an appreciated gift and should be stocked in all good bars and restaurants as a standard.This complex Whisky has won several sought-after awards: 2009 a gold medal at the International Wine and Spirits Competition, 2011 a gold medal at the Scotch Whisky Masters and in 2013 won the World Whiskies award as the best Scotch blend.

The Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old is a well-balanced single malt whisky made by combining the ideal harmony of two oak casks into a single superb whisky. Sherry-seasoned American wood adds faint vanilla to the modest spice of European oak, resulting in a whisky with a sweeter, warmer flavour and character.Within one superb single malt whisky, two unique oaks produce the perfect equilibrium of flavours. The Double Cask whiskies are aged in two different content-types of oak, in hand-crafted casks that have been seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry. Vanilla, citrus, and butterscotch flavours are imparted by American oak.

The Macallan's unmistakable delicate spice comes from European oak. These two superb whiskies combine after 15 years to create a distinct single malt with a sweeter, warmer flavour and character.

Tasting Notes: On the nose, butterscotch and plump raisin, with spiced apple crumble and oak spice.

On the palate, dried fruits galore, with a dusting of cinnamon, candied ginger and orange peel. More warming ginger alongside a drizzle of honey and buttery caramel on the finish.

The initial aroma is strong with citrus and a hint of whiskey. The palate again reveals lots of orange character, and a moderate amount of honey. Has a rich, bourbon finish that plays on the tongue and ends with a final touch of honey.

Swing features an elevated amount of Speyside malts, balanced by malts from the northern Highlands and Islay. On the tongue it starts off a bit sweet and then the spicy notes take affect mid-palate which exposes the smoke and peat. It has a smooth lingering smoke and spice finish. The result is a luxurious flavor that's light in the foreground, with sweet mouth-watering depth developing on the palate.

Famous Grouse is a very nicely balanced, malty blend which was first made in 1896, and would go on to be known as The Famous Grouse, with the name registered in 1905.
