Los Javis Reposado is made with agave Espadin in Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca. The agave used to make this mezcal were roasted in an underground oven, crushed by horse drawn tahona, fermented with open air yeasts, and double distilled in a copper pot still. After distillation, this mezcal is aged for six months in used American Oak bourbon barrels.
Full-bodied aromatic blend of chamomile, caramel, and grass. Our Reposado is marked by rich hints of caramalized butter, marzipan, and banana bread.
