TASTING NOTES

 

Colour: Straw yellow with green hints 
Nose: Neat notes of meadow flowers and pleasant hints of pear. The bouquet is fresh and fragrant showing also refined notes of sage and peach, accompanied by the elegant mineral touch typical of the Pinot Grigio variety.
Palate: Very fragrant and elegant. Fruity and perfectly balanced with a pleasant roundness. A typical mineral touch completes the final, which recalls notes of yellow pear and almond.

MENU SUGGESTIONS

It is paired with fish soups, chargrilled seafood and various dishes based on field mushrooms and porcini mushrooms. This wine is wonderful with squid ink lasagnette pasta and crayfish sauce.

Lamberti Soave is a blend of Garganega and Trebbiano grapes from the hills of Soave, near Verona. Dry, crisp and fruity, pale yellow colour.

Bardolino Classico is a red wine produced from the traditional (Classico) vineyard area at the heart of the Bardolino DOC in Veneto, north-eastern Italy.

Both of these appellations are based on the red grape varieties also associated with Valpolicella: Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella.

TASTING NOTES

COLOR: Lighter bricky red.

NOSE: Canned sour cherries, hint of spices.

TASTE: Light to medium body, canned sour cherries, still quite good acidity, red currant, medium finish.

FOOD PAIRING : Pair with pizza, pasta with red sauce.

The fruit is sourced from the best hillside vineyards across Treviso in the Veneto. Grapes are harvested slightly before full maturation to preserve acidity. The base wine is re-fermented in enclosed pressure tanks

Chianti Superiore Santa Cristina is ruby red with purplish highlights.

On the nose it is complex with fruity notes of morello cherries, dried plums and hay. Its palate is soft, mouth filling with velvety tannins and a long savory finish.
