Seven different viticulture areas were tested all over Jordan From Madaba to Kastal to select the vineyard in the north of Sama village; very close to the desert, yet not part of it. The ancient soil and sharp changes in diurnal temperatures produces the rich and balanced wines of Saint George. The cold nights maintain the acidity in this wine; amazingly round for a Pinot Grigio, the mouth is fresh yet with a well balanced acidity.
Tasting Notes:
This iridescent Pinot Grigio is a pale yellow color with greenish hints. It has a crisp nose, developing aromas of yellow Meyer lemon peel, dried herbs and almonds followed by delicate mineral finish.
Food Pairing
To be enjoyed by itself or paired with delicate white fish, vegetarian mezza, and grilled vegetables.
