Teacher’s Highland Cream Blended Scotch Whisky – 100 cl

Teacher's was one of the first and believed to be one of the best blended Scotch whiskies. In order to achieve 'perfection', William Teacher used a high proportion of expensive single malts. This blend became Teacher's Highland Cream and to this day, still contains the same high proportion of malt whisky. A malty and creamy whisky, rounded, smooth on the palate with an oaky and smoky finish.

Nose: Fruity, malty aromas. Just a hint of peat smoke with a good dollop of gooey toffee.

Palate: Soft smoke, barley malt and manuka honey. Hints of Malt-driven palate with soft spices.

Finish: Malt and smoke on the finish. Classic.

The Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old is a well-balanced single malt whisky made by combining the ideal harmony of two oak casks into a single superb whisky. Sherry-seasoned American wood adds faint vanilla to the modest spice of European oak, resulting in a whisky with a sweeter, warmer flavour and character.Within one superb single malt whisky, two unique oaks produce the perfect equilibrium of flavours. Tasting Notes: On the nose, butterscotch and plump raisin, with spiced apple crumble and oak spice.

On the palate, dried fruits galore, with a dusting of cinnamon, candied ginger and orange peel. More warming ginger alongside a drizzle of honey and buttery caramel on the finish.

Swing features an elevated amount of Speyside malts, balanced by malts from the northern Highlands and Islay. On the tongue it starts off a bit sweet and then the spicy notes take affect mid-palate which exposes the smoke and peat. It has a smooth lingering smoke and spice finish. The result is a luxurious flavor that's light in the foreground, with sweet mouth-watering depth developing on the palate.
