The wine was matured on French Oak for 4 months to add weight and complexity. Rich, dark red colour with ripe, punchy, plum flavours, sweet black cherry and a velvet finish.

Delicate wood does not mask the ripe fruit.

Deep garnet colour, almost pitch black, with ruby hues. Round, powerful with well-balanced tannins, this full body wine displays notes of dark fruits (plum, cherry, blackcurrant) combined with a savoury panel of soft spices such as liquorice, clove, black pepper and nutmeg. The final if long, dry and so powerful.

On the palate it shows mouth filling fruitiness and a long smooth finish. Matured for twelve months in French barrique and refined in our cellars for at least one year.

Aromatic nose of wild black berries, jammy black plum, some toasty notes and liquorice. It develops toffee aromas and caramel after a few minutes.

PALATE: The start is fresh, juicy and fruity (blackberry, plum, some mulberry), then develops some spiciness and supple tannins.

The final is long, round and peppery.
