Glengoyne 10-year-old Scotch whisky comes from the Highland region. Only non-peat malt is used in the production. It matures in ex-sherry Palo Cortado oak barrels and in ex-sherry Amontillado oak barrels. The barrels are made to order in Jerez, Spain and South America.

The bottle is contained in an elegant orange-white-black gift box.

Color: light brown, honey

Aroma: sweet, caramel, popcorn, nuts, green apples

Taste: apples, grass, oak, sweet, licorice, oil, almonds

Finish: sweet, nuts, vanilla, caramel

Produced with a careful selection of the best Scottish malt and grain whiskies, mainly from the region of Speyside. The only one in its category with an aging of at least 15 years in oak barrels. Created using only Scotch whiskies aged for a minimum of 12 years from the four corners of Scotland, Johnnie Walker Black Label has an unmistakably smooth, deep, complex character. The standard release of Highland Queen blended Scotch whisky, named after Mary Queen of Scots. Like much of the range, it offers very good value for money.

Nose: Some dark honey, caramel, allspice, cooked apples and pear drops.

Palate: Crisp apples now, nougat, more honey, subtle vanilla, perhaps even some tarragon.

Finish: Clean and quite short.

The initial aroma is strong with citrus and a hint of whiskey. The palate again reveals lots of orange character, and a moderate amount of honey. Has a rich, bourbon finish that plays on the tongue and ends with a final touch of honey.  

Color: Pale golden straw  

Nose: Strong with citrus, whiskey, and hints of honey  

Taste: Sweet honey and allspice with vanilla and a hint of smoke notes  

Finish: Bourbon is evident with long, slightly spicy finish
