2014 Château de Fieuzal

Varieties:  Cabernet Sauvignon 65%, Merlot 25%, Cabernet Franc 10%.

Alcohol content: 13.5%.

Color: the wine has a purplish red color with a medium density.

Aroma: it is clean and elegant, with primary notes of bigarreau cherry, raspberry, wild berries, light spiciness, followed by notes of macerated cherry. All these flavors are accompanied by a subtle undertone of vanilla.

Taste: two main sensations are noted in the mouth: mainly softness and silkiness.

Characteristic of the 2014 vintage: then a long aftertaste that already indicates that this blend will develop well during maturation. The tannin characteristics are subtle, interestingly "rough" texture on the surface.

"Chateau du Pin" Blanc, 2013 - dry wine with fruity notes in the flavor and aroma. Its blend dominated by Sauvignon Blanc grapes (60%), harmoniously complemented variety Semillon (40%).

Harvest for wine production is collected at the Chateau du Pin, located in the commune of Saint-Martial, near the town of Kadiyyak, south of Bordeaux. The local oceanic climate is characterized by high humidity, due to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean and two rivers washing the region - the Garonne and the Dordogne. The composition of the soil - clay and limestone. The wine is kept in special large oak barrels in the cellars of Borie-Manoux for five months. TIPS FOR USE These wines are all characterised by delicious, fruity sweetness, which means that they are excellent for socialising and a good match for Eastern dishes and vegetables. Try with Indian vegetable or chicken korma, shrimp and cheese quiche or black label Emmental.

HOW TO SERVE White wines are best served chilled, at 10–12°C. Chilling a bottle from room temperature to the perfect serving temperature takes about two hours in a fridge. The sweeter the wine, the cooler it can be served.
