Produced by the same team and from the same vineyards as Château Palmer, Alter Ego is literally the ‘other side’ of Palmer, another expression of Palmer. Alter Ego has the distinction and character of Palmer but is made to be drunk much earlier. Merlot is generally the dominant grape variety, making it supple and ready to open within 3 years of the harvest. A great wine with intense fruit, fresh and juicy.

Tasting Notes :The 2017 Alter Ego de Palmer is deep garnet-purple in color and springs from the glass with vivacious black raspberries, black cherries and crushed blackcurrants notes plus hints of Sichuan pepper, menthol, pencil lead and cardamom. Medium-bodied, the palate is charged with energy, featuring expressive, bright black fruits and firm, fine-grained tannins, finishing long and lively.

Food Pairing: Roasted red meats, Stew, Mature cheese.

Grape Variety: 53% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot

"Chateau du Pin" Blanc, 2013 - dry wine with fruity notes in the flavor and aroma. Its blend dominated by Sauvignon Blanc grapes (60%), harmoniously complemented variety Semillon (40%).

Harvest for wine production is collected at the Chateau du Pin, located in the commune of Saint-Martial, near the town of Kadiyyak, south of Bordeaux. The local oceanic climate is characterized by high humidity, due to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean and two rivers washing the region - the Garonne and the Dordogne. The composition of the soil - clay and limestone. The wine is kept in special large oak barrels in the cellars of Borie-Manoux for five months. This is a very pleasant, easy-drinking wine has good value for money.

Color : Wine bright golden-yellow color with greenish highlights.

Taste :Taste wines expressive, fresh and balanced, with fruity notes, which are dominated by notes of peach, pleasant acidity and a long refreshing finish. Aroma Bouquet of the wine opens with fresh aromas of white fruits, citrus tones, notes of honeysuckle flowers. Gastronomy Wine is the perfect accompaniment for light salads, fish, grilled or fried, seafood, shellfish.
