Fontanafredda Barolo 2018 DOCG is a premium Italian wine made exclusively from the Nebbiolo grape variety grown in the Barolo region of Piedmont. This full-bodied red wine is characterized by its deep ruby color, complex aroma of ripe red fruits, spices, and leather, and a dry, tannic finish. Aged for a minimum of 38 months, 18 of which are in oak casks, Fontanafredda Barolo DOCG is a powerful and elegant wine, with a harmonious balance between its flavors and structure. Bardolino Classico is a red wine produced from the traditional (Classico) vineyard area at the heart of the Bardolino DOC in Veneto, north-eastern Italy.

Both of these appellations are based on the red grape varieties also associated with Valpolicella: Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella.

TASTING NOTES

COLOR: Lighter bricky red.

NOSE: Canned sour cherries, hint of spices.

TASTE: Light to medium body, canned sour cherries, still quite good acidity, red currant, medium finish.

Color: Deep ruby red Bouquet: intense, wide, fragrant with plum compote and maraschino cherries with a hint of violets.

Taste: Dry, full-bodied, warm, soft and yet very firm with a pleasant background of dried fruit and roasted hazelnuts with a long finish.

Food Pairing: Red meats, mature cheeses.

Pale, straw yellow color with subtle green hues, Zonin Prosecco reveals a persistent perlage and rich mousse. The bouquet is refined and elegant, enhanced by pleasing fruity notes. On the palate, the wine is dry and pleasantly fruity with a fresh, aromatic note on the finish.
