Wine Content-type: Red wine Grape Variety: Syrah Appellation: Jezzine, Southern Lebanon Fermentation: 100% in stainless steel Maturation: Aged in oak barrels for 12 months 70% new French oak, 30% American oak one wine Serving: Best served at 16°C Decanting: Decant for one hour prior to savoring Winemaking & Tasting Notes The unique altitude terroir, at 1,300 meters, of the Jezzine valley has yielded a supreme Syrah that is handpicked, vinified and aged in oak barrels for twelve months. The result is a wine of a deep ruby red hue with notes of ripe fruits, cassis, licorice and supple, beautifully structured tannins, and lingering length. This profoundly pleasurable wine is suitable for ageing or present enjoyment. Food Pairing: All content-types of pasta, pizza, white meat and light cheeses

Arak Brun Reserve Special 5 years from the Domaine des Tourelles winery is an aniseed, distilled and colorless alcoholic beverage produced in Lebanon. It is obtained from a 3-stage distillation, before aging in bar jars for 5 years.

Arak Massaya has a beguiling aniseed flavor and freshness that cleans the palate and aids digestion. It is often served as an aperitif and then as the perfect accompaniment to classic selections of mezze, the array of tasty dishes with contrasting flavours that is the starting point for many lunchtime or evening meals.

Arak works particularly well with the mezze melange that will include olives, spices, meat and cheese flavors that are sometimes harder to match with wine.

Chateau Ksara Blanc De L'Observatoire is intensely aromatic on the nose, with soft rich fruit, a zesty palate and a long, very fresh finish. This wine seduces with its finesse, elegance and floral aroma.

Chateau Ksara Blanc De L'Observatoire is an interesting blend of aromatic white grapes: 45% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Muscat and 20% Clairette. The Sauvignon Blanc gives this wine its finesse and elegance, the Muscat its subtle flowery aroma and the Clairette its fruitiness, roundness and rich taste. Each wine is matured separately for three months in French oak casks, before being blended and bottled.

Arak Fakra is an extra special baladi Arak, distilled in keeping with the ancestral Lebanese traditions with a selection of clusters of grapes and top-quality aniseed. It is then aged until maturity in baked clay jars which gives it a taste unlike any other.

Arak is the national Lebanese beverage. Today, over 100 years later, this family's descendants perpetuate the traditions of the Lebanese mountain by producing with the same method and according to the same formula that rare arak bearing the name of Arak Fakra, a name inspired by a prestigious site of that mountain situated at an altitude of more then 1500 meters. Already long before our era, the Romans had chosen this area to raise temples devoted to their divinities among which that of Venus and monuments honoring emperor Claudius (10AC - 54AD) whose name was Baalgalassos. The shadow of these temples' ruins still hands today over the cellars where Arak Fakra comes to maturity.
