Hennessy Cognac is crafted with a strict set of standards defined by the Master Blender Renaud Fillioux de Gironde and handed down from generation to generation. However, when it comes to enjoying Cognac, we haven’t followed any rules since 1765. Hennessy has created extraordinary cognacs since 1765 and Hennessy Very Special represents the Tasting Committee’s unique expertise. Only the most distinctive eaux-de-vie are selected which are then carefully matured for several years in oak casks and skillfully blended to reveal their warm, full-bodied flavor. Through the nose, Hennessy V.S brings together an intense and fruity character with pleasantly oaky notes. On the palate, the exceptional aromatic power of this cognac opens with an association of hazelnut, walnut, cedar wood and then candied fruit. A great length characterizes this XO. Rémy Martin – VS was first created in 2007 by Pierrette Trichet, the first woman to be appointed Cellar Master to a major Cognac house. She chose only the highest quality grapes from the Petite Champagne, an important cru in the Cognac region. Rémy Martin – VS has aged for at least 2 years in oak casks made from the nearby Limousin forest. It can be enjoyed neat, on ice or even in long drinks with ginger ale.

Rémy Martin XO is the signature of our Cellar Master who with his expertise blends hundreds of eaux-de-vie. His art of blending allows us to express the full aromatic complexity of this XO Cognac Fine Champagne.

Eye: Dark amber.

Nose: A rather smooth XO, some rich aromas of jasmine, a velvet structure, fruity candy notes.

Palate: The heart is dominated by fig, and full prune, on the palate cinnamon and brioche. The finish lasts for about 10 to 15 minutes.
