AnCnoc 18 Year Single Malt Whisky – 70 cl

introduced in the latter half of 2014, the 18 year old anCnoc single malt Scotch whisky from the Knockdhu distillery was matured in a combination of European oak ex-Sherry and American oak ex-bourbon casks. Following maturation, this handsome Highland whisky is bottled without chill-filtration or additional colours.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, unrefined sugar and satisfying raw honey with blood orange and satsuma segments. Honey'd and spiced on the palate. Vanilla, lemon, gooseberry and fig rolls. A long finish with warming Sherried spice.

The Double Cask whiskies are aged in two different content-types of oak, in hand-crafted casks that have been seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry.
