introduced in the latter half of 2014, the 18 year old anCnoc single malt Scotch whisky from the Knockdhu distillery was matured in a combination of European oak ex-Sherry and American oak ex-bourbon casks. Following maturation, this handsome Highland whisky is bottled without chill-filtration or additional colours.
On the nose, unrefined sugar and satisfying raw honey with blood orange and satsuma segments. Honey’d and spiced on the palate. Vanilla, lemon, gooseberry and fig rolls. A long finish with warming Sherried spice.
