Why Arc-En-Ciel?

I distinctly recall making this wine for the first time. The weather that day was unsteady with heavy rain. I left the tasting room to stroll the grounds to plan my next course of action. As I took in the sea view from our winery, the sun emerged and a marvelous rainbow was in sight. It was then and there that I decided to name my rosé “Arc-En-Ciel”, French for rainbow. I saw it fitting as the rainbow’s hues of purple, red and pink suited the color of the wine. – Captain Habib Karam

Winemaking& Tasting Notes

This pale colored press rosé satisfies the palate with its red exotic aromas (strawberries,cranberries, raspberries and fresh prunes), body and rich taste with plenty of zest. Only noble varietals with low yield are embodied in this
wine; the Pinot Noir’s red fruit aromas coupled with the Syrah’s freshness and the smoothness of the Cabernet Sauvignon complete the experience.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with raw or cooked seafood, pasta, white meat and exotic salads.

Arak Massaya has a beguiling aniseed flavor and freshness that cleans the palate and aids digestion. Almaza Pilsner Beer includes delicate aromas of grain and corn waft from the glass. And that’s not really surprising, when you discover that the brewery states “corn makes up to 25%” of the grain bill. But give the beer a few vigorous swirls to bring some of its head back. And you’ll soon discover that it also brings light notes of honey and flora, with grassy hints.

That light, delicate character also carries into Almaza Pilsener Beer’s flavor.

Named after François-Eugène Brun, Arak Brun might be the world’s most famous arak! Its production has been uninterrupted since the inception of the winery in 1868. It is made from the alcohol of estate grown Obeidi and Cinsault grapes, harvested at optimum ripeness, and blended with fresh anise. Since 2015, Domaine des Tourelles grows its own anise in Deir el Ahmar, a village in the district of Baalbek. Their arak is produced inside a hundred-year-old cellar, processed traditionally using a three-stage distillation in traditional alembics, and aged in clay jars.

Arak is not sweetened.

Serve with water – ice can be added.
