It convinces with a smooth and gentle bouquet of sweet malt, honey, biscuit, freshly cut herbs and floral nuances. On the palate the dram imparts notes of cereals, nuts, spicy oak, a slight sweetness and traces of heather while the body is mainly smooth. The finish has even a hint of smoke but the biggest part exists of floral notes and some sweet caramel. This blended Scotch is the original Bell’s whisky and one of the classic drams of Scotland. On one hand it is such a classic product because its creator Arthur Bell launched his first blended whisky more than 150 years ago. He was actually a tea and whisky merchant and thus he knew what his customers were looking for.

Johnnie Walker 18 Year Old (or "Aged 18 Years") is a terrific blended Scotch whisky from the world-famous range, which features a combination of up to 18 different whiskies, including the likes of Cardhu, Glen Elgin, Auchroisk and Blair Athol, among others. The Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old is a well-balanced single malt whisky made by combining the ideal harmony of two oak casks into a single superb whisky. Sherry-seasoned American wood adds faint vanilla to the modest spice of European oak, resulting in a whisky with a sweeter, warmer flavour and character.Within one superb single malt whisky, two unique oaks produce the perfect equilibrium of flavours. The Double Cask whiskies are aged in two different content-types of oak, in hand-crafted casks that have been seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry. Vanilla, citrus, and butterscotch flavours are imparted by American oak.

Tasting Notes: On the nose, butterscotch and plump raisin, with spiced apple crumble and oak spice.
