The Giordano Vini Barolo Riserva 2016 is a full-bodied red wine from the Piedmont region of Italy, made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The 2016 vintage was widely recognized as an excellent year for Barolo. 
 
Tasting notes
  • Color: The wine has a brilliant garnet-red color with aging-related coppery or brick-orange hues.
  • Aroma: Expect an intense and elegant bouquet with hints of vanilla, rose, and licorice, along with complex notes of maraschino cherry. Some tasters have also noted dark fruits, tar, and spice.
  • Flavor: The flavor is full, rich, and intense, with a smooth, but rightly tannic profile. There may be notes of jam, prune, and orange zest, with a spicy finish.
  • Aging: The wine is aged in oak barrels for years in underground cellars to develop its prestige and complex characteristics.

The Giordano Vini Barolo Riserva 2016 is a full-bodied red wine from the Piedmont region of Italy, made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The 2016 vintage was widely recognized as an excellent year for Barolo.

Tasting Notes

Concentrated, vivid ruby red colour. Pervasive, complex aromas with marked ripe fruit (Morello cherries and raspberries) and pleasing flor notes (irises and Parma violets). Rounded, full-bodied, soft and fruity flavor, very tangy and harmonious.
