An 18 year old single from Glen Moray’s Elgin Heritage range, which is all about approachable, accessible and easily enjoyable whiskies. This particular expression is drawn from first-fill American oak barrels, imparting plenty of vanilla-y tastiness.

Tasting Note:

Nose: Juicy apricot and yellow plum, with a glaze of honey.

Palate: Earthy vanilla arrives first, shortly followed by hints of lavender and sultanas.

Finish: Lingering notes of ginger and cinnamon.

Sir Edwards is distilled and then matured in oak barrels. Refined, aromatic and woody, long on the palate with a clean, round flavor, it reveals all the finesse of an outstanding Scotch blend.

Swing features an elevated amount of Speyside malts, balanced by malts from the northern Highlands and Islay. On the tongue it starts off a bit sweet and then the spicy notes take affect mid-palate which exposes the smoke and peat. It has a smooth lingering smoke and spice finish.
