XX is the Roman numeral for twenty, in this case twenty carefully selected batches of old, (mostly twenty year old) rare malt whiskies were chosen by twenty of the worlds most gifted Malt Masters. They were invited to meticulously taste every rare barrel of whisky within the cavernous Conval warehouse at Glenfiddich (located in the famous Speyside whisky region of Scotland) and select their favourites for inclusion in the top-secret Project XX. The result is nothing short of mesmerising. The colour is burnished celtic gold, the aroma, wild apple blossom and candy floss, organic vanilla pod and cinnamon bun, the taste, sweet summer fruits, wild Scottish honey and homemade toffee. The finish is long and unforgettable, a tour de force of epic proportions that every whisky drinker should experience. Style: Smooth, Fruity and Light.

One of the world's most popular blends, and the best-selling Scotch whisky in Scotland. Famous Grouse is a very nicely balanced, malty blend which was first made in 1896, and would go on to be known as The Famous Grouse, with the name registered in 1905.
