Founded in 1890 –with over 125 years’ history– La Celia is the oldest winery in the Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina. It was the first winery in the region to plant the Malbec variety, which is currently the country’s signature variety around the world. Since then, it has been known for one of most historical wineries in Argentina, producing elegant, high-quality wines with its ranges: Heritage, Elite and Pioneer and Reserva. La Celia consists of over 400 planted vineyards, where it has strived to discover, maintain and tailor its work with those varieties which bring the best-possible quality for the Uco Valleys climate.

Founded in 1890 –with over 125 years’ history– La Celia is the oldest winery in the Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina. It was the first winery in the region to plant the Malbec variety, which is currently the country’s signature variety around the world. Surprisingly fresh, this massive full-bodied wine shows aromas of dried plum, violet, dried herbs, clove, hints of undergrowth and some chocolate and coffee notes. The length is exceptional, and its smokiness last on the tongue for up to 15 caudalies!

Light, yet mouth filling with a pleasant bitterness and musky aftertaste, this flowery wine is both fresh and delicate.

Food Pairing: This delicate wine will enhance any light salad or seafood platter.

Aromatic nose of wild black berries, jammy black plum, some toasty notes and liquorice. It develops toffee aromas and caramel after a few minutes.

PALATE: The start is fresh, juicy and fruity (blackberry, plum, some mulberry), then develops some spiciness and supple tannins.

The final is long, round and peppery.

Light bodied wine with a shiny golden color. Refreshing, crispy and highlighted by citrus aroma with hints of orange and a fresh flowery bouquet, smooth, persistent on the palate with an almond twist to the finish.
