A triple distilled blended Irish Whiskey produced in Cork and made, unusually, with all three styles of Irish whiskey: single pot still, single malt and grain. First produced in 1779, it wasn’t until 1913 that it changed it’s name to Paddy after legendary salesman Paddy Flaherty. Before that it had the rather catchy name of “Cork Distilling Company Map of Ireland Old Irish Whiskey”. Rolls right off the tongue that one.

Nose: The nose is oily and fresh with floral notes, cereal grains and plenty of fruit.

Palate: The palate is sweet and of medium-body with toffee and cereals, a rosewater note with a little butterscotch and vanilla.

Finish: The finish is spicy and dry with a little black pepper and oak.

A triple distilled blended Irish Whiskey produced in Cork and made, unusually, with all three styles of Irish whiskey: single pot still, single malt and grain. The initial aroma is strong with citrus and a hint of whiskey. The palate again reveals lots of orange character, and a moderate amount of honey. Has a rich, bourbon finish that plays on the tongue and ends with a final touch of honey.

One of the world's most popular blends, and the best-selling Scotch whisky in Scotland. Famous Grouse is a very nicely balanced, malty blend which was first made in 1896, and would go on to be known as The Famous Grouse, with the name registered in 1905. Around eighty years later, the company was awarded a Royal Warrant. The blend represents great value for money, and it also works beautiful in whisky-based cocktails. Delicious.
