Patrón tequilas are handcrafted at the Hacienda Patrón distillery in Jalisco, Mexico where people are the heart of the process – one that has remained the same since the very beginning. First, skilled jimadors uproot only the finest 100% Weber Blue Agave with the perfect sugar content and transport the heart of the plant to Hacienda Patrón. They’re then hand chopped, baked and crushed by a two-ton volcanic stone tahona wheel and a roller mill.

The agave is then fermented in pine oak tanks and distilled in small batches using copper stills. Each bottle of Patrón is a work of art, meticulously inspected, hand corked and signed.

Tequila Dos Mexicanos Silver comes from the state of Jalisco. Here, the key ingredient of the drink, the blue agave, also known as "agave tequiliana", grows in ideal conditions. Due to its ability to accumulate water during the rainy season, the agave does not need watering. The small agave reaches maturity only after 7-9 years.

The mature agave is stripped of its leaves and the agave head is removed from the ground. Harvesting the agave is called "jima". The agave is exposed to hot steam, which softens the texture and converts the agave starch into sugars needed for alcoholic fermentation. The juice, fermented in steel tanks, is double distilled.

Aroma: Opens with notes of various fruits, flowers, blue agave and soft spicy nuances

Taste: Fresh, soft, harmonious, slightly sweet, with notes of blue agave, flowers and fresh fruits

Herradura Plata obtains its exclusive sweet flavor from agave and subtle oak notes thanks to the application of a method not common in the sector by which it rests in American white oak barrels for 45 days
Matured in barrels for 15 days longer than usual in the sector to obtain an incomparable smooth and refreshing flavor
Flavor: Sweet and lightly cooked agave with a touch of oak that leaves a soft and fresh sensation in the mouth
Aroma: tequila with herbaceous and cooked agave notes with a subtle presence of vanilla and wood

Margarita Herradura preparation suggestion: 50 ml of Tequila, 25 ml of lime juice, ½-¾ teaspoon of agave syrup. Mix and shake with ice to cool. Strain into a filled glass and decorate the rim of the glass with salt and a slice of lime.
