Serving temperature: 8 – 10° C (46 – 50° F)

Recommended glass: Medium-sized tulip-shaped, narrowing towards the rim Must from the soft-crushed fruit is fermented for about 12 days at 18 degrees. When fermentation is complete, the wine is held in special steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15 – 16 until it goes into bottle.

It is an infusion of bittere herbs, aromatic plants and fruit in alcohol and water. The blend is a secret family recipe, originally created by Gaspare Campari in 1860 in Novara, Italy. It is versatile and fits in well with classic cocktails, without losing its strong and unique taste. It is perfect for the Negroni.

Bardolino Classico is a red wine produced from the traditional (Classico) vineyard area at the heart of the Bardolino DOC in Veneto, north-eastern Italy.

Both of these appellations are based on the red grape varieties also associated with Valpolicella: Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella.

TASTING NOTES

COLOR: Lighter bricky red.

NOSE: Canned sour cherries, hint of spices.

TASTE: Light to medium body, canned sour cherries, still quite good acidity, red currant, medium finish.

FOOD PAIRING : Pair with pizza, pasta with red sauce.

Red fruit notes on the nose, plum aromas on the plate very moderate tanins and easy drinking wine there is a lack of wood, oak and spice aromas for a Cabernet. Easy finish comes with medium + body. Great match for spicy pastas and cheese plates.

Melini puts its signature to Chianti Governo all'Uso Toscano which has sprung from the rediscovery of a fascinating traditional method based on slow refermenting the wine when it has just been drawn off along with raisined grapes.

Lamberti Pinot Grigio Blush - Pale and light with subtle raspberry and strawberry notes adding to classic lemon and apple Pinot Grigio notes.
