Our forebears were aware of the legendary alcohol drink in Belarus “Starka” since the XV century.
The rye vodka with pleasant aftertaste and light fruit tones was pride of winemakers, was difficult to produce and was put on magnate tables for the most solemn occasions.
The drink was recreated on the basis of the recipe of 1858, when it was actively produced in Belarusian manors.
The basis for this strong tincture is rye distillate and alcoholic infusions and extracts from natural components:
- oak bark infusion
- apple extract
- vanilla extract
- raisin extract
- prune extract
- pear extract
