THE GLEN GRANT 12 YEARS OLD

is a sublime single malt with a bright golden colour and aromas of orchard fruits and vanilla.

The palate reveals mouth-watering layers of apple pie, toffee, caramel and almonds. On the finish, soft summer fruits linger with honey and hints of spice.

AWARDS

In its initial year of release, our 12 Year Old won the 2016 Gold medal for 'Best Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Aged 12-13 Years Old' at the highly respected International Wine & Spirit Competition against fierce competition. A Double Gold award from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2017 followed quickly showcasing the consistent quality of our refined single malt Scotch.

Tasting notes:
COLOUR: Bright gold.
AROMA: Honey, pear and apple with hints of almonds and citrus.
TASTE: Apple pie crust, caramel and vanilla.
FINISH: Lingering fruit with subtle hints of spice.

ABV: 40%

The Macallan treated this 18 Year Old to not just one, but two cask content-types for its maturation, released as part of the Double Cask series! Oloroso sherry was used to season a combination of both American and European oak casks, with the former imparting vanilla nuances while the latter brings that hallmark Macallan spice. Another fantastic sherried single malt from the Speyside distillery!

Tasting Notes

Nose: Dried fruit, ginger and toffee. Rich orange with hints of clove and nutmeg.

Palate: Rich raisin and sultana with notes of caramel, vanilla and ginger, balanced by wood spice and zesty citrus.

Finish: Warm oak spice with ginger, turning to sweet orange.

Country: Highland, Scotland ABV: 43%

Johnnie Walker 18 Year Old (or "Aged 18 Years") is a terrific blended Scotch whisky from the world-famous range, which features a combination of up to 18 different whiskies, including the likes of Cardhu, Glen Elgin, Auchroisk and Blair Athol, among others. Carefully created by master blender Jim Beveridge, this expression packs bags of creamy vanilla, vibrant fruit and runny honey, alongside soft wisps of smoke.
