The Saint George WMS Pinot Noir is a red wine from Jordan produced by Zumot, featuring notes of red fruits, leather, and minerality. The WMS stands for Winemaker’s Selection. 
 
Tasting Notes
  • Nose: Aromas of leather and crushed red rose petals, smoked meat, notes of undergrowth, flint and granite. Other descriptions mention strawberry, raspberry, and a hint of forest floor.
  • Palate: The palate is described as dry and sharp, with a pleasant smokiness, followed by balanced tannins and minerality. Flavors can include red cherry and cranberry. It is medium-bodied and expressive.
  • Alcohol Content: The alcohol percentage is listed as 16%. 
 
Food Pairings
The wine pairs well with a variety of dishes, including: 
  • Korean style marinated sirloin
  • Short ribs ragout
  • Chocolate fondue 
It is recommended to serve the wine at 16-18°C (60-65°F).
