Winemaking & Tasting Notes

Three carefully selected varietals are grown on a mosaic of terroirs, on the slopes of the Jezzine mountain ridge, situated at 1,300-meter altitude in Southern Lebanon. The Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, come together in an uncommon blend, a subtle liquid work of art, with a wide spectrum of aromas and a supremely velvety palate. This unfiltered wine offers outstanding balance and structure, making it perfect for ageing or immediate enjoyment. In the aft palate, it offers fruitfilled length.

Food Pairing: Gravy dishes of duck, lamb and hard cheeses

Almaza Pilsner Beer includes delicate aromas of grain and corn waft from the glass. And that’s not really surprising, when you discover that the brewery states “corn makes up to 25%” of the grain bill. But give the beer a few vigorous swirls to bring some of its head back. Arak Massaya has a beguiling aniseed flavor and freshness that cleans the palate and aids digestion. It is often served as an aperitif and then as the perfect accompaniment to classic selections of mezze, the array of tasty dishes with contrasting flavours that is the starting point for many lunchtime or evening meals.
