Aguacana Cachaca White Rum – 70 cl

Originally from Brazil, Cachaça AGUACANA comes exclusively from the distillation of pure fermented cane juice from sunny plantations in the Pernambuco region. Enhancing this 'Spirit' are fruity, slightly lemony aromas leading to a dry, fruity, caramelised feel in the mouth. It draws its success from its simplicity and the famous trendy cocktail, the 'Caipirinha'. Perfectly balanced and with a pronounced taste of sugar cane, the AGUACANA cachaça sublimates the Caïpirinha by revealing all its character associated with lime.

Limited edition rum matured in rye barrels for 2.5 years for a more spicy, dry and complex flavor profile.

The Festive Spirit of Louisiana Matured in bourbon barrels for up to 6 years using Solera aging method and partially finished in sherry barrels.

A deep mahogany complexion with a stone fruit, plum and sandalwood on the nose, this complex spirit delivers orange marmalade and dark stone fruit with bursts of black currant and tupelo honey. Rounding out with a long, rich touch of smoke this 6 year old spirit lingers like the early morning mist that can only come from the Delta of Louisiana.

Captain Morgan Dark rum is a blend of five different rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados. The blended rum mixture is distilled in a two part process using both pot stills and continuous stills and then aged for 2 to 7 years in charred oak barrels.

This is a white rum (with a slight shade of yellow to it) that is aged up to six years, then charcoal filtered to strip the color out. As delicate and delightful a white rum as you’re likely to find, the rum starts off with a heady amount of alcohol, masking sweet notes of coconut and a hint of lemon. The palate is on the sweet side (but not overly so), dosed with coconut, pineapple, and a kick of licorice on the back end. This gives the otherwise fairly straightforward rum a bit of a spicy kick, with just a hint of lime peel lingering on the back end. A worthy choice as your new house white rum for making daiquiris and mojitos. 94 proof

Describing itself as 'the rum for bourbon drinkers. Bayou Select is copper pot distilled from Louisiana sugarcane and then aged in the Solera method for up to three years. The result is a creamy rum with a bourbon-esque character, accompanied by notes of cinnamon and maple. The Solera method involves a pyramid of stacked barrels. The oldest liquid is in the bottom layer of barrels, the youngest in the top. When a batch is harvested it is filled solely from some of the bottom layer, and those barrels are then topped up with rum from the layer resting on top of them. This second layer is, in turn, topped up with the contents of the third layer, and so on. This process is a way of naturally blending spirits for consistent taste and quality.
