The majestic Royal Challenge is a mild to medium bodied cigar that is smooth and complex. The blend is highlighted by an aged silky Connecticut/Ecuadorian shade wrapper, a Habano/Honduran binder that is perfectly complimented by Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers.

In 1887, at the height of the British rule, colonial soldiers began to make their own cigars from the local tobacco. The fondness of the British for these legendary Nepalese fighters inspired them to name their cigars " Gurkhas." 

Steeped in legend and history, the Gurkha cigars, created more than a century ago has been reborn and today is one of the most famous brands of luxury cigars in the world. Its flavor profile is incredibly complex with crisp notes of sweet tea, cedar, and a hint of citrus balanced with a woody cedar note, slightly accentuated by peppery spice. It retains a luxuriously rich and regal vanilla base with some buttery creaminess to keep the flavor sweet and light or medium-bodied until the finish, revealing the natural flavor of the tobacco.
