Notably, this blend boasts the distinction of showcasing the oldest Connecticut shade-grown wrapper available in the market. These cigars are hand-rolled at the El Paraiso factory in Danli, Honduras. It's where many of Rocky Patel’s cigars are made. The factory opened in 2017 and is one of the most important places for the brand’s cigar production. It’s a large, modern facility where skilled workers handle every step of making a cigar—from growing and sorting tobacco to rolling and packing. This almost pitch black Petite Syrah Reserve opens with aromas of crushed violet and red rose, then black and blue berries, and then sandalwood and black pepper! Lively and velvety on the palate, its powerful tannins and notes of dried fig followed by spicy hints of liquorice and black pepper produce its length and a savory finish.
