Parellada and Garnacha Blancatraditional white grapes, are what give Viña Sol its distinctive fresh fruitiness. Intense, with outstanding notes of flowers and ripe fruits (banana, pear, apple and peach), combined with delightful touches of citrus (mandarin zest) on a mentholated base. It’s firm, fresh, long and elegant in the body, with a lingering finish.

Excellent as an aperitif and acompaniment for rice dishes, seafood and fish.

Serve chilled (around 10ºC )

Parellada and Garnacha Blancatraditional white grapes, are what give Viña Sol its distinctive fresh fruitiness. Intense, with outstanding notes of flowers and ripe fruits (banana, pear, apple and peach), combined with delightful touches of citrus (mandarin zest) on a mentholated base. A medium-pale pink wine that is a new addition to iconic Freixenet's range. It is a refreshing yet flavourful rosado with plenty of summer-fruit flavours and crisp citrus notes. We can't think of a better wine to enjoy as an aperitif, but it is also a treat paired with fish or salads!

Bonanto is a wine-based aperitif with 22% Vol. Alc. 70 cl., and a selection of 30 botanical, among which the wormwood and Mediterranean aromatic plants such as laurel, rosemary, basil and thyme. Together with a selection of citrus fruits and the distillate of cherry and apple, they give this creation a unique personality. Red in color, it is a light, fresh drink with a touch of bitterness.

TASTING NOTES: 

  • Color: intense cherry. - Smell: aromatic herbs and Mediterranean roots (laurel, thyme, basil), citrus and cherry distillate.
  • Taste: combination of sweet and bitter really soft and pleasant. Versatility.

TASTE :Crisp and fruity whites are dry, medium-dry or medium-sweet.

They are typically crisply acidic, which balances their rich fruitiness. You can discern yellow plum, apple and peach notes in these wines. Crisp acids create a fresh finish, making these wines ideal for a variety of foods.

TIPS FOR USE: These wines are an excellent match for savoury starters, pasta and fish and seafood dishes. Try with different kinds of tapas or antipasti, shrimp salad or sushi.

HOW TO SERVE: White wines are best served chilled, at 10–12°C. Chilling a bottle from room temperature to the perfect serving temperature takes about two hours in a fridge. The sweeter the wine, the cooler it can be served.

The wine is produced from Spanish grape varieties and then gets its deep electric color by the addition of anthyocyacin, a natural pigment extracted from the grape peel and the bacon, a natural pigment derived from the egg plant. The builders behind the new drink are six Spaniards. Everything has to do with modernity. “Gik’s consumption is not just about drinking blue wine,” says the ad.
