TORRES VIÑA SOL

Parellada and Garnacha Blancatraditional white grapes, are what give Viña Sol its distinctive fresh fruitiness. Intense, with outstanding notes of flowers and ripe fruits (banana, pear, apple and peach), combined with delightful touches of citrus (mandarin zest) on a mentholated base. It’s firm, fresh, long and elegant in the body, with a lingering finish.

Excellent as an aperitif and acompaniment for rice dishes, seafood and fish.

In 1946, despite a difficult and turbulent time in history, Miguel Torres Carbó created Torres 10, Brandy Torres's flagship brand. The careful selection of grapes, distillation and prolonged aging in top-quality oak casks make Torres 10 a spirit of extraordinary flavor and aroma; characteristics that have made it the most widely sold Brandy Gran Reserva in the world. The aging process uses the Solera System, which gently blends the spirits as they age. This dynamic system allows for consistent, balanced aging, because the vintages blend continuously.

Doing so maintains the freshest expression of varietal character as the newly distilled spirit blends with older brandies to acquire depth and structure.

The resulting spirit is aromatic, intense, expressive, structured and voluptuous.

The palate reveals silky, unctuous notes that gain structure and firmness from the tannins imparted by the wood during prolonged aging.

Taste: Torres 10- Gran Reserva is one of our finest brandies. We have been producing it for generations. After distillation, Torres 10 - Gran Reserva is aged in our famous family celler in hand-made oak barrels, using the renowned Spanish Solera System. After long and careful ageing, we are able to obtain the fine, distinctive character of a very noble brandy. Only then can we call it a Gran Reserva.

The blend of soleras displays a fine topaz colour, an intense bouquet of dried fruits with warm hints of cinnamon and an extremely smooth palate.

Situated in the North-East of Spain, between Rioja and Bordeaux, lies the stunning Propiedad de Arinzano, a protected area rich in natural habitat. Today, the magnificent estate, designed by renowned Spanish architect Rafael Moneo, provides the inspiration for a new brand identity for the Arinzano Estate. It stands out based on the uniqueness of the terroir, its history, art and environment, and the exceptional potential to give life to wines that would be a reference of the highest quality and singular character. The most advanced and careful techniques are used to guarantee an artisanal treatment through the whole winemaking process, and we pursue a viticulture that not only respects, but actually favors the natural environment.

As a result, Arinzano is one of the few estates in all of Spain to be recognized with Pago status, and the first Pago in the North of Spain.

Tasting Notes

Deep, garnet color. Intense aromas of black fruits. Predominantly mineral and dark red fruit notes –wood, China ink-, Stone and smoke hints. Ample power, pleasant and velvety in the mouth. Tasty and dense evolution. Very long persistence.

Food Paring: Pairs well with earthy red meats like fillet and lamb chops.

Mía Freixenet Blanco is a wine made from Maccabeu, Xarello, Parellada and Muscatel.

Once the grapes are harvested, they are destemmed and pressed. Then, they ferment in stainless steel deposits with temperature control. It is not aged, in any way, before it is bottled. Mía Freixenet Blanco is a fruity, light and refreshing wine. A classic wine of Penedés, made with grapes that are typical from the area. Slightly fruitier thanks to the Muscatel. Ideal for the aperitif or on its own.
