Blanka Arak | Founders Blend – 100 cl

Arak Blanka Founder's Blend is a premium, limited-edition Lebanese arak crafted as a matured Father's Day tribute. It represents an elevated, highly aged expression of the traditional spirit, produced by an artisanal three-generation family distillery.

• The Lineage: The craft was started over 50 years ago by Halim Bejjani in Lebanon, refined by Master Distiller Robert Bejjani, and is currently managed by his son Ramy.
• Ingredients: It is made by ETS. Distillery using indigenous Lebanese Merwah and Obeidi grapes and flavored with sweet Heena aniseed.
• Method: The spirit is distilled and purified using authentic copper stills.

Tasting Notes.

• Appearance: Crystal clear in the bottle, transforming into a pure milk-white color the moment it is mixed with water.
• Flavor: The use of Heena aniseed delivers a cleaner, rounder, and sweeter taste profile compared to the sharper anise notes found in industrial araks. The underlying grape spirit offers a full body without harshness.
• Strength & Packaging: The Founder's Blend is packaged in a sleek, distinct white bottle, typically available in a 100 cl (1L) size and bottled at a robust 75% ABV.

• Pour one part arak to two parts water into a small glass.
• Add ice last so that the ice never directly touches the neat spirit (preventing an unwanted film from forming).

Chateau Ksara Sunset Rose, an intense pink colour with an aroma of red berries and a hint of spiciness, with an initial roundness in the mouth, and finishing with a fresh and vivid taste. Winemaking & maturing Selected from the best vats of red grapes, this wine is obtained by bleeding. After 10 to 14 hours of maceration, fermentation is done at a low temperature (18°C). Once the alcoholic fermentation is completed, the wine is racked-off and sulphured to avoid malolactic fermentation. Once it has stabilised, SUNSET is bottled in the spring, to preserve its ripe fruit flavours. Ageing Better appreciated the first year; it can be kept for up to 2 years in a good cellar. Serving This fresh robust wine, with its slightly spicy aroma, is the ideal accompaniment to Mediterranean or Oriental cuisine. It also complements raw vegetables and cold meat. It should be served chilled (8-10°C) in order to reveal its spicy flavour, freshness and balance.

Arak Massaya has a beguiling aniseed flavor and freshness that cleans the palate and aids digestion. It is often served as an aperitif and then as the perfect accompaniment to classic selections of mezze, the array of tasty dishes with contrasting flavours that is the starting point for many lunchtime or evening meals.

Arak works particularly well with the mezze melange that will include olives, spices, meat and cheese flavors that are sometimes harder to match with wine.

The arak of Chateau Ksara is a truly authentic expression of Lebanon's traditional, anise-flavored spirit.

It is produced in a specially-designed alembic still using an innovative technique to assure that only the heart of the distillate, the real "pure flower", is used. Finally, following ancestral norms, Ksarak is matured for two years in clay jars from Beit Chebab before it is at last ready for consumption.

Named after François-Eugène Brun, Arak Brun might be the world’s most famous arak! Its production has been uninterrupted since the inception of the winery in 1868. It is made from the alcohol of estate grown Obeidi and Cinsault grapes, harvested at optimum ripeness, and blended with fresh anise. Since 2015, Domaine des Tourelles grows its own anise in Deir el Ahmar, a village in the district of Baalbek. Their arak is produced inside a hundred-year-old cellar, processed traditionally using a three-stage distillation in traditional alembics, and aged in clay jars.

Arak is not sweetened.

Serve with water – ice can be added.
