Russell’s Reserve 6 Year Rye Whiskey – 75 cl

Russell's Reserve 6 Year Old Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey (750ml) is a small-batch, age-stated rye whiskey produced by Wild Turkey. Masterminded by the legendary father-son distilling duo Jimmy and Eddie Russell, this expression is highly regarded as a balanced, approachable "Kentucky-style" rye.

• Age: 6 Years Old
• Alcohol Content (ABV): 45% (90 Proof)
• Volume: 750ml
• Mash Bill: Typically a "barely legal" Kentucky rye recipe consisting of approximately 51% rye, 37% corn, and 12% malted barley.
• Barrels: Aged in heavily charred No. 4 "alligator" char American white oak barrels.

Tasting Profile

• Nose: Crisp and grain-forward with lighter notes of hay, vanilla, citrus peel, and toasted oak, underlying with a distinctive herbal or soft minty sweetness.
• Palate: A creamy and finessed mouthfeel. It leads with upfront sweetness like sweet caramel chew, honey, and vanilla, which is quickly balanced by building rye spices, black pepper, and allspice.
• Finish: A smooth, medium-length finish that leaves a warm lingering blend of drying oak wood, baking spices, and citrus zest
