Baron Carl Saint Emilion

Description The Baron Carl Saint-Émilion by  Baron Philippe de Rothschild appears in the glass in an intense red with garnet shimmering reflections. This French red wine from the renowned appetite of Bordelais shows on the palate aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and strawberry, up to blackberry. These fruit aromas are accompanied by spicy notes of coffee and some vanilla.

On the palate it reveals elegant tannins as well as ripe fruit paired with a beautiful spice.

Its finish is powerful and harmonious.

Vinification of Baron Carl Saint-Emilion 81% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are vinified for this red wine from Saint-Emilion.

After destemming, the must is left on the mash to obtain all characteristic aromas from the berry skins and the pulp. After mash fermentation and subsequent gentle pressing, part of the wine is aged for 6 months in oak barrels.

Rosé Imperial displays a pink color with amber highlights. Lively and intense, the bouquet exudes red fruits (wild strawberry, raspberry, cherry) with floral nuances of rose and a slight hint of pepper. Wine & Spirits: This blend is mostly Pinot Noir and Meunier, including 10 percent red wine for color. Chardonnay accounts for 10 to 20 percent, including a portion of reserve wines that may be providing the oceanic, oyster-shell notes that bring to mind Champagne's Kimmeridgean limestone. This is broad and loose up front, with fruity scents of orange and pomegranate. Then the wine keeps buzzing with brisk acidity, tightening up and extending the flavors with energy. Next it is so pleasing to the nose: initially reminiscent of yellow and white fruits, then of vanilla and later of brioche.
