The wine, a deep red with a violet tint, has a rich, well-developed nose, full of fruit, dominated by black cherry mingled with refined and delicate violet scents. Round and full on the palate, it combines a well-integrated structure of silky tannins with expressive fruit – wild strawberries, nectarine and vine peach – accompanied by distinct but discreet mineral notes. The finish, crisp, fresh and flavoursome, admirably expresses the character of Pinot Noir.

Colour: Deep ruby red with a slight garnet tint.

Nose: The nose opens on jammy red fruit aromas such as redcurrant and cherry and a hint of vanilla and coffee with airing.

Palate: Fruit flavours (cherry, strawberry, redcurrant)emerge very quickly on the fresh and elegant attack, followed by a smooth and spicy mid-palate and a round and spicy expressive finish with powerful tannins.

"Chateau du Pin" Blanc, 2013 - dry wine with fruity notes in the flavor and aroma. Its blend dominated by Sauvignon Blanc grapes (60%), harmoniously complemented variety Semillon (40%).

Harvest for wine production is collected at the Chateau du Pin, located in the commune of Saint-Martial, near the town of Kadiyyak, south of Bordeaux. The local oceanic climate is characterized by high humidity, due to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean and two rivers washing the region - the Garonne and the Dordogne. The composition of the soil - clay and limestone. The wine is kept in special large oak barrels in the cellars of Borie-Manoux for five months. This is a very pleasant, easy-drinking wine has good value for money.
