John Crabbie was a pioneer and a rule breaker, he was one of the first to blend whisky in the 1800s in order to create consistency – something that was quite elusive in those days. Continuing that pioneering nature, Yardhead is the first non-age declared single malt whisky from John Crabbie & Co. Distilled in the highlands and matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks, Yardhead is ideal for mixing in both long drinks and whisky cocktails, it breaks the rules of how consumers enjoy single malt Scotch whisky. Yardhead is named after the original site where John Crabbie distilled and matured whisky in Edinburgh. Archive records show that Crabbie’s whisky was housed in Bond 73 at Yardheads, in Leith and this became the home of the original Crabbie’s distillery.

The Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old is a well-balanced single malt whisky made by combining the ideal harmony of two oak casks into a single superb whisky. Sherry-seasoned American wood adds faint vanilla to the modest spice of European oak, resulting in a whisky with a sweeter, warmer flavour and character.Within one superb single malt whisky, two unique oaks produce the perfect equilibrium of flavours. The Double Cask whiskies are aged in two different content-types of oak, in hand-crafted casks that have been seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry. Vanilla, citrus, and butterscotch flavours are imparted by American oak.

The Macallan's unmistakable delicate spice comes from European oak. These two superb whiskies combine after 15 years to create a distinct single malt with a sweeter, warmer flavour and character.

Tasting Notes: On the nose, butterscotch and plump raisin, with spiced apple crumble and oak spice.

On the palate, dried fruits galore, with a dusting of cinnamon, candied ginger and orange peel. More warming ginger alongside a drizzle of honey and buttery caramel on the finish.

Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey is the world's best selling whiskey, with every bottle distilled and bottled at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, America's oldest registered distillery, established in 1866. Made from the finest corn, rye, and barley malt these choice grains are mixed with the iron-free water that flows from the Cave Spring found on the distillery grounds. From there Jack Daniel's is charcoal mellowed drop by drop through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal which imparts our distinct smoothness. Finally, Jack Daniel's is matured in handcrafted white oak barrels of our own making.

Swing features an elevated amount of Speyside malts, balanced by malts from the northern Highlands and Islay. On the tongue it starts off a bit sweet and then the spicy notes take affect mid-palate which exposes the smoke and peat. It has a smooth lingering smoke and spice finish. The result is a luxurious flavor that's light in the foreground, with sweet mouth-watering depth developing on the palate.
