Glenfiddich IPA Cask Single Malt – 70 cl

Glenfiddich IPA Cask Finish is the 1st expression in the Experimental Series. The experiment resulted in the first single malt Scotch whisky ever finished in craft IPA casks. It's a new kind of single malt scotch whisky. A rich golden colour.

There is a harmonious combination of fresh green apple, William's pear and spring blossom on the nose. To compliment, you get hints of aromatic hops and fresh herbs. A vibrant taste with zesty citrus notes followed by creamy vanilla and hints of fresh hops.

The finish is an enduring sweetness with echo's of green hops.

The initial aroma is strong with citrus and a hint of whiskey. The palate again reveals lots of orange character, and a moderate amount of honey. Has a rich, bourbon finish that plays on the tongue and ends with a final touch of honey.

Taste: Sweet honey and allspice with vanilla and a hint of smoke notes  

Finish: Bourbon is evident with long, slightly spicy finish

Chivas Regal 12 Year Whisky is a blend of many different malt and grain Scotch whiskies, matured for at least 12 years. This rich, smooth blend balances style with substance and tradition with a modern twist.

Color: Radiant, warm amber. Nose: An aromatic infusion of wild herbs, heather, honey and orchard fruits.

Taste: Rich and fruity, Chivas bursts with the smooth taste of ripe, honeyed apples, and notes of vanilla, hazelnut and butterscotch.

The standard release of Highland Queen blended Scotch whisky, named after Mary Queen of Scots. Like much of the range, it offers very good value for money.

Nose: Some dark honey, caramel, allspice, cooked apples and pear drops.

Palate: Crisp apples now, nougat, more honey, subtle vanilla, perhaps even some tarragon.

Finish: Clean and quite short.
