With the Fontanafredda Gavi di Gavi, a first-class white wine comes into the glass. Here he presents a wonderfully brilliant, platinum yellow color. In the glass, this white wine from Fontanafredda reveals aromas of pears, kumquats, grapefruit, honeysuckle and pomelo, complemented by gingerbread spice, black tea and vanilla.

On the palate, the Gavi di Gavi from Fontana fredda starts out wonderfully aromatic, fruity and balanced. Despite its dry taste, this white wine impresses with its juicy glaze and elegantly integrated residual sweetness. Vinification : This elegant white wine from Italy is made from the Cortese grape variety. In Piedmont, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sand, limestone, sandstone and marl. The grapes for this white wine from Italy are exclusively hand-picked when they are perfectly ripe. After the hand picking, the grapes reach the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully broken open. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for a few months before the wine is finally bottled. After the completion of the wine, the Gavi di Gavi is carefully harmonized.

Food recommendation :is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It's perfect as an accompaniment to chickpea curry, lemon chili chicken with bulgur, or leek tortilla.

The grapes: 50% corvina; 30% rondinella; 10% molinara; 10% merlot from favoured sites in the Classico DOC zone, on the Veronese shore of Lake Garda.

The vinification: the grapes are picked when perfectly ripe; 70% is vinified by the rosé wine method with contact of the skins with the must for about 24 hours and the remainder by the white wine method without skin contact. The separate fermentation ensures an ideal balance between the aromas and flavours extracted from the skins. T
