Rested for over 12 months, this Añejo expression from the Cazcabel Tequila range delivers a rich and sophisticated sipping experience that rivals some of the best aged spirits in the world.

Crafted in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, and named after the mythical 'Cazcabel' (the Snake King), this tequila embodies heritage, patience, and the power of time-honoured distillation techniques.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Deep and aromatic with notes of roasted agave, vanilla, warm oak, and a hint of cacao. Subtle spices and dried fruit—think raisins and figs—add further depth.

Palate: Velvety smooth and well-balanced. Flavors of dark caramel, toasted oak, and cinnamon unfold alongside black pepper, chocolate, and a whisper of leather. The agave core remains vibrant throughout.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering oak spice, smoky sweetness, and soft vanilla undertones.

Don Julio 1942 Añejo Tequila is handcrafted in tribute to the year that Don Julio González began his tequila-making journey. Warm oak, vanilla and roasted agave flavors lead into a lingering oak and rich vanilla finish for a luxurious tequila recognized by connoisseurs around the globe. Aged in small batches for 2 and a half years, our añejo tequila is made with 100% Blue Weber Agave that is ready for any celebration.

It is not aged in oak barrels, and gets a golden hue due to the addition of caramel. Blue agave tequila to create "Arandas' Oro is grown in the state of Jalisco, the area, the climate is ideal for growing agave. Tequila "Arandas" bottled in textured bottle with inscribed symbols belonging to the ancient Mayan civilization.
