Glenfiddich Fire & Cane Experimental – 70 cl

Glenfiddich Fire & Cane is the fourth release in the distillery's innovative Experimental Series. It is a No-Age-Statement (NAS) single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 43% ABV in a 700 ml format. The name represents the unique pairing of campfire smoke ("Fire") and the sweet profile of Latin American rum casks ("Cane").

• The Blend: It marries an unusual batch of lightly peated Glenfiddich malt with traditional unpeated malts matured in ex-bourbon American oak barrels. 
• The Finish: The combined whiskies are finished for three months in Latin American rum casks to introduce a tropical, confectionery sweetness.

• Nose: Soft billows of Highland peat smoke and distant campfire, balanced by rich toffee, zesty fresh fruit, and vanilla. also noted a distinctive briny, crisp green apple, and char profile.
• Palate: A distinct contrast of dry wood smoke and warm oak mixed with sweet baked apples, sharp green fruits, and lingering butterscotch or caramel sweetness. 
• Finish: A medium-length finish that leaves a persistent balance of peppery spices, sweet caramel, and soft, fading peat.

Finish: Another wave of honey, with a soft hint of cinnamon spiciness.
