We only use the world’s finest, the Trinitario cocoa from Trinidad and Tobago. This paired with 200 years of unparalleled bitters expertise have resulted in this truly decadent, indulgent new flavour. Top notes of rich bitter, floral, nutty cocoa with a bold infusion of aromatic botanicals provide endless possibilities to remix classic cocktails and put a luxurious spin on a main dish or a sweet treat. Trinidad and Tobago is one of the few countries designated as a 100% fine or flavour cocoa producer. A status it has held for decades.

Tasting Notes

Rich, dark brown color. On the nose, distinct cocoa inveigles the nose to inviting warm spices and citrus undertones. On the palate, top notes of rich, floral, nutty cocoa combined with an intoxicating infusion of aromatic botanicals.

Rapid-maceration and centrifugal extraction have resulted in top-quality cocktails bitters, which work particularly well in whisky (and whiskey) based tipples.

Made from its own special recipe, ANGOSTURA® orange bitters is a complex blend of tropical oranges and spices. “The soul of an exceptional dry martini”; it is wonderfully versatile and pairs perfectly with vodka, gin and whisky. It also adds a depth of flavour to rum cocktails. Its complexity and layers of flavour also make it a culinary must-have ingredient. A perfect accompaniment to savoury sauces, seafood and chocolate.

ANGOSTURA® orange bitters is made from its own special secret recipe and does not contain any of the ingredients in ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters.

The original 1930's classic Gin martini calls for orange bitters. Best when used with clear spirits such as Gin, Vodka and White Rum but not limited to this.

Essential in savoury sauces such as barbeque and remoulades. Excellent in savoury dishes, seafood in particular (prawns and shellfish).
